Employees Help Fight Chatham County Fire

MONCURE — Employees at a plant in Chatham County found themselves fighting a fire late Saturday night.

The blaze broke out in a waste handling system at the Willamette Industrial Plant.

The employees were fighting the flames when firefighters from the Moncure Fire Department arrived.

No one was injured, and the employees went back to work after the fire was extinguished.
