TARBORO — Sheriff's deputies say an argument sparked a deadly shooting in Edgecombe County Sunday night.
Greg Wooten is accused of killing his wife Charmain during a dispute over their vehicles.
Deputies say the argument escalated and ended with Wooten shooting his wife at least twice.
Wooten is charged with first-degree murder and is being held without bond.
