Plane Makes Crash Landing Near Rocky Mount-Wilson Airport

— A twin engine Beechcraft Baron was forced to make an emergency landing Friday morning near the Rocky Mount-Wilson Airport.

The plane landed about a half-mile short of the runway around 5:30 a.m.

The pilot and two others on board were transported to Nash General Hospital for treatment of minor injuries.

The accident is under investigation.
