CHATHAM COUNTY — A little girl who nearly froze to death during a January snow storm has been reunited with her mother.
Hailey Bogue, 4, and her half-brother were taken from their mother, Tara Christie, and were placed infoster careafter the incident.
Hailey wandered away while playing at a friend's house and spent 17 hours in sub-freezing temperatures.
Friday, a Chatham County judge ruled that that the children should be returned to their mother.
Christie faces misdemeanor child abuse charges for alleged neglect in Hailey's disappearance.
