MOORE COUNTY — Time and space are running out for Moore County's only animal shelter.
The Humane Society in Carthage says the shelter is too small and too old to deal with the county's growing animal population.
Shelter officials say they may soon have to turn animals away. The group says it needs a new shelter.
County commissioners will take up the issue next month. -->
