RALEIGH — Basketball players are showing off their best moves at theCIAA Tournament, and fans are strutting their stuff off the court.
The annual CIAA fashion show was held Friday at the Raleigh Convention and Conference Center.
The fashion show featured lots of feathers and plenty of color, enough to put a spring in anyone's step. Extravagant hats topped off the spring couture.
"This is a historical event and when people come, they feel good about it," says Ruth Reid-Coleman, a CIAA fashion fan.
For stepping out in the evening or a formal occasion, gowns complete with elegant wraps graced the runway.
Speaking of grace, WRAL'sRenee Mccoywas part of the show as well.
