FAYETTEVILLE — A Fayetteville man has been charged with 15 counts of animal cruelty.

Two weeks ago a real estate agent found dead birds, snakes and a dog in a home on Sapona Road. Police arrested Kevin Giles, whose name appeared on the lease.

His former business partner, Audrey Collins, was also on the lease. She has not been charged in this case, but was convicted of cruelty to animals in 1998.

Giles is out of jail on a $10,000 bond.
