Violent Man Sought By Cumberland Authorities

Cumberland County authorities need the public's help to find a local man who is deemed a threat to his estranged wife and their children.

FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. — Cumberland County authorities need the public's help to find a local man who is deemed a threat to his estranged wife and their children.

Albert E. Watson, 34, formerly of 1415 Elma Street, Spring Lake is described as a black male. He is 5 feet 11 inches tall and weighs approximately 170 lbs. Watson has black hair, brown eyes and multiple tattoos on his body.

Watson is currently wanted on multiple sex offenses and for domestic violence in Cumberland County. He was incarcerated in the state of Mississippi in 2002 for aggravated assault and burglary.

Watson is considered to be a very violent individual. If you have any information on Watson's whereabouts, you are urged not to approach him, but contact the Cumberland County Sheriff’s Office at 910-323-1500.
