WAKE COUNTY — A woman made a run for it Saturday night, when deputies came knocking with an arrest warrant.
Two Wake County deputies went to an Old Stage Road address to serve warrants on a man and woman. While questioning the man, deputies say the woman drove off. After a short chase, she crashed the car and broke her leg, they say.
The man was wanted for a probation violation, and the woman was wanted for passing worthless checks.
She now faces numerous traffic violations.
