FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. — Fayetteville authorities are investigating a homicide case they believe happened several days ago.
At about 2 a.m. Sunday, officers with the Fayetteville Police Department responded to a call at
5529 Hedrick Drive
.
Authorities say Robert Zoltan-Kollat Adolph, 25, repeatedly struck his mother, Debra Kollat Adolph, in the head with an unknown object and then strangled her.
Adolph was arrested, charged with first-degree murder and put in the Cumberland County Jail. He is scheduled to make his first court appearance Monday morning.
