Volunteers Chop Firewood To Heat Homes

Posted Updated

RALEIGH, N.C. — The weather is warmer than normal, but winter isn't over yet. Warmth for Wake volunteers spent the morning chopping wood for families who regularly receive donated firewood to heat their homes.

Despite the effort, they could still use your help. You can donate hardwood at the Raleigh Yard Waste Facility on North New Hope Road. Last year, Warmth for Wake helped 241 families across the county.
