CARRBORO — Owners of one of Carrboro's oldest restaurants are trying to determine if they will rebuild after a devastating fire.
Fire gutted the Jade Palace on East Main Street Thursday.
All the employees and diners escaped without injury, but the restaurant suffered extensive smoke and fire damage.
Investigators have not determined the cause, but they said it appears the fire began in a rear storage room that housed a gas heater.
