Zebulon Woman Still Missing; Search Put on Hold

ZEBULON — The search for a missing 76-year-old Zebulon woman missing since Thursday has been put on hold Tuesday.

On Monday, divers searched a pond near the spot where Clenton Haskins' car was found wrecked and abandoned in a field.

The grandmother and former Duke Medical Center worker was last seen leaving her doctor's office Thursday.

As the days and cold nights pass, Haskins' family is starting to lose hope she will be found alive.

Investigators are also preparing for the worst. They have not ruled out foul play, although they say there were no signs of force in the car.
