EDGECOMBE COUNTY — A Tarboro man is behind bars and charged with murder.
The body of Elizabeth Robbins was discovered in the woods in Edgecombe County on Monday. Investigators say she had been shot twice in the chest.
On Friday, the sheriff's office announced the arrest of 52-year-old Kenneth Webber.
Police say the two had known each other for a couple of years and had an on-and-off relationship.
Webber is charged with first degree murder. -->
