FAYETTEVILLE — Fayetteville police are investigating two murders.
Police say James Tisdale was killed in a drive-by shooting on West Orange Street. He died on the way to the hospital.
Police are looking for a gray 1987 Cadillac that was seen leaving the area. It was bearing the North Carolina license plate MSJ 1437.
A second murder was discovered late Monday night. Police were initially called out to a car accident at Fox Trot and Shaw Road shortly after 11:30 p.m.
When they arrived on the scene, they discovered a man in the car was dead. He has been identified as 19-year-old Corey Williams.
Investigators say Williams had been shot.
