FAYETTEVILLE — The year 2000 was a great year for business in downtown Fayetteville. New shops, cafes and a new theater are counting on your business in the year ahead.
Owners Chris and Naseem Kuenzel hope the the next time you drive past their Cameo Art House theater, you will stop and visit for a while.
Back in 1914, the Cameo was a silent film and vaudeville theatre. It now features new art and independent films, which do not always guarantee a great turnout.
"We think it's definitely heading in the right direction, and there's still a ways to go."
The Kuenzels say last year's opening of the Airborne and Special Operations Museum, along with the new PWC building, helped to bring them new customers.
