FAYETTEVILLE — Jury selection began Monday morning in the murder trial of Antonio Speranza.
Police say Speranza is a repeat drunk driver. He is charged with second degree murder in the death of Danny Deavers.
Deavers was riding his motorcycle last January when Speranza allegedly ran into him. Speranza is accused of being drunk at the time.
Prior to this charge, Speranza had been arrested for DWI five times.
