RALEIGH — Sometimes, all you need is a chance to sell your idea. Local entrepreneurs are getting their chance at a two-day conference in Raleigh.

N.C. State's Computer Training Unit and Business Leader magazine are offering start-ups and established companies a showcase for new products and services in their Showcase 2001 event.

"You're actually meeting presidents and CEOs of the companies who are here at their booths, as well as building that relationship face to face versus on the phone," said Jodie Cockerham, who was visiting the conference.

The exhibits and seminars keep visitors up to date on the newest technology developments in the Triangle. Showcase 2001 continues Thursday, and tickets are available at the McKimmon Center on the NCSU campus.
