RALEIGH — The man accused of abusing children at a Garner day care center could soon be out on bail.

Raheem Robinson appeared before a judge Monday afternoon. According to a sworn affidavit filed by Garner police, children say they were "spanked with a fishing pole end" by Robinson. A middle school girl says Robinson "grabbed her" and made her watch a "sex tape".

The incidents allegedly happened in the One Big Family Day Care Center. The state shut down the center in December.

"A summary suspension is an emergency action, which is taken any time the agency believes the children are in danger," says Karen Dunn of the N.C. Division of Child Development.

The day care center was licensed to Robinson's wife, Kyna. His bail was reduced from $11 million to $200,000.

If Robinson makes bail, he will have to stay at home and wear an electronic bracelet.
