Diabetic Woman Emerges From Coma; State Takes Over Investigation

The state has taken over the case of an herbalist accused of telling a diabetic she could stop taking insulin.

The Franklin County Sheriff's Office confirms it has handed over its investigation of Margie Mulholland to the State Bureau of Investigation and the Attorney General's Office.

Jo Ann Rochelle's family says she went into a diabetic coma after Mulholland convinced her not to take her insulin. Mulholland denies the claims.

Rochelle's family says she has emerged from her coma, and she is now off a ventilator.
