Hurricanes Launch Campaign to Increase Ticket Sales

RALEIGH — TheCarolina Hurricanessay Triangle children will win if the team can double its ticket base.

The Hurricanes launched a campaign Wednesday to increase their number of season ticket holders from 6,000 to 12,000.

TheNHLwill bring its All-Star Game to theRaleigh ESA, if the team reaches their ticket goal.

The Carolina Hurricanes is promising to put $1 million into the community as soon as the goal is met. Most of the money would go toward the Wake, Durham and Orange county school systems.

The team promises to meet their goal by May 31 by selling most of the new season tickets to local businesses.
