EFLAND — Orange County sheriff's deputies arrested four armed bail bondsmen nearEfland-Cheeks Elementary SchoolThursday morning.
The sheriff's office says it received a report at about 10 a.m. that armed men were running on a playground full of fifth-graders.
Three of the four captured men were charged with crimes. Two were charged with felony counts of having firearms on school property. The third was charged with carrying a concealed weapon.
The men who were charged were released from jail Thursday afternoon and made their first court appearance Friday in Hillsborough.
