RALEIGH, N.C. — According to one travel Web site, the Triangle is a bargain.
Hotwire.com ranked the Raleigh-Durham area third in a list of best U.S. cities for bargains because of the area's low prices and easy access from most major airports and interstates.
Denver tops the list, followed by the Greenville-Spartanburg area of South Carolina. Knoxville, Tenn., and the Tampa-St. Petersburg-Sarasota area round out the top five.
