DURHAM — Travelers along Interstate 40 in Durham County should give themselves some extra time this weekend.
The eastbound and westbound lanes of the interstate will be closed at exit 276 (Fayetteville Road) from 11 p.m. Friday until 6 a.m. Monday.
Affected motorists will have to exit there, cross over Fayetteville Road and go back onto the interstate.
DOTcrews are working to widen the bridge over I-40, in preparation for the new mall.
