FAYETTEVILLE — A Fayetteville father found himself in a hairy situation Thursday afternoon.
John Hemrick wanted to win his three-year-old daughter tickets to see N'SYNC in concert, so he agreed to wax his entire body, including all facial hair, on a live broadcast of Q98 radio.
Although Hemrick admits it was painful, he said it was worth it.
"It's kind of weird. A lot of people wouldn't do it I suppose, but I'll do anything for my kids. They're good kids, and they deserve it," he says.
Hemrick won two N'SYNC tickets, backstage passes and a limousine ride to the concert.
