RALEIGH — A contemporary Celtic group co-founded by WRAL Anchor Bill Leslie will transport you to an Irish or Scottish landscape this St. Patrick's Day weekend.
Bragh Adair will perform Friday night at 8 p.m. at Barnes & Noble in Cary. If you can't make it to that performance, they will also be playing on Sunday at 6:30 p.m. at Glenaire in Cary. On April 1, the group will be at the Meymandi Auditorium at 7 p.m.
For a preview, you canlisten to a trackfrom "Grace in Stone," orbuy the CD. The final song, "Lorica," is based on a famous prayer by St. Patrick.
The group's name comes from an ancient Gaelic word that means "blazing or crackling fire."
