Wal-Martannounced Wednesday that it will build a new food distribution center in Henderson. The $20 million investment will create up to 400 permanent jobs in Vance County over the next three years.
"Times are good right now, and unemployment rates are low. Finding quality people is tough," says John Hay, Wal-Mart Real Estate manager. "We feel like and we know that we found that it Vance County."
The new Wal-Mart distribution center will be located along U.S. 1 in Henderson. Construction is expected to get underway this summer.
