CARY — It's 4 p.m. Sunday and your child has a sore throat that keeps getting worse. What do you do? A Cary doctor is trying a new service: caring for kids at night and on weekends.
Dr. Scott McGeary has opened a new after-hours care center for children.
"It was just a gap in our medical delivery system in the Triangle that I'm hoping and trying to fill here," he says.
After Hours Pediatrics is located on Ashville Avenue in Cary. It is open until 10 p.m. on weekdays and 6 p.m. on Saturdays and Sundays.
