RDU INTERNATIONAL — The winter storm in the Northeast continues to cause problems down South.
RDU International, like other airports across the country, is dealing with dozens of flight cancellations.
More cancellations are expected Tuesday as the winter storm hitting the Northeast intensifies. RDU had as many as 50 cancellations Monday.
RDU spokesperson Mike Blanton says, in comparison, the Port Authority of New York reported 1,500 cancellations at the area's three airports.
Anyone planning to travel should call their airline for the most recent updates.
Along the east coast,Amtraksays its trains headed north are still on schedule.Trailways' buses are only traveling as far north as Baltimore until further notice.
