Newspaper Challenges Judge's Ruling To Seal Records Of Poisoned Researcher
Posted — UpdatedRALEIGH — A lawyer for a Raleigh newspaper have filed a motion challenging a judge's decision to seal the results of an autopsy in an arsenic poisoning case.
Judge David LaBarre ordered the autopsy report onEric D. Millerbe kept under seal for at least 90 days. He said its release would hinder an investigation being conducted by Raleigh police.
An attorney of the Raleigh News and Observer is challenging the decision.
No one has been charged in Miller's death.
