RALEIGH — Visitors can now submerge themselves in a new exhibit at a Raleigh museum.
The "Extreme Deep" exhibit opened Saturday at the N.C. Museum of Natural Sciences. Visitors can learn about deep sea life, the Titanic's icy ocean grave and see life on the ocean floor.
Organizers say the exhibit completes the museum experience.
"Our museum tells the story of different habitats in the state -- from the coast all the way up to the mountains," said Albert Ervin, the exhibit's project manager. "This exhibit is wonderful because it ties in with that story and tells the story after you leave North Carolina and go out in the deep ocean."
Adults will pay $5 to see the exhibit; children will pay $3.
