2 Suspected in Durham Shooting

Durham police think more than one person was responsible for a shooting that left a Durham man critically wounded.

DURHAM, N.C. — Durham police think more than one person was responsible for a shooting that left a Durham man critically wounded.

Investigators said Travis Lamont Bolden, 26, was shot in the abdomen during a disturbance in the parking lot of Baycreek Apartments at 1309 Hudson Avenue shortly before 1 a.m. Saturday.

The shooting occurred in a parking lot near Buchanan Boulevard. At least one vehicle was damaged by gunfire.

Friends took Bolden to Durham Regional Hospital, but he was later transferred to Duke University Hospital for treatment. He was in critical condition Saturday morning.
