A hoax put a stop to a night that was supposed to honor Cumberland County Sheriff Moose Butler.

Hundreds of people turned out to show their support for Butler at the Christ Village Conference Center Thursday evening.

The appreciation rally was cut short after someone called in a bomb threat.

The building had to be evacuated, but officers did not find anything. So far, no arrests have been made.
