RALEIGH — State leaders are also asking for your ideas on how to cut corners and save money.
Sen. Marc Basnighthas already had hundreds of suggestions from paying a higher gas tax to making prisoners work more.
One of the most unusual suggestions has been nailing speed limit signs to trees instead of posts to save money.
