MOORE COUNTY — Moore County investigators have made an arrest in themurder of a Vass woman.
Terrence Elliott, 31, is charged with first-degree murder, and several other crimes. He lived down the street from the victim, 77-year-old Alice McCrimmon.
Detectives found McCrimmon's body in her home a week ago. They say she was beaten, sexually assaulted and strangled.
