Fayetteville PWC Customers Prepare to Pay More for Power

Posted Updated

FAYETTEVILLE — Gas bills have gone through the roof this winter. Some people are about to see their electricity bills skyrocket, too.

Fayetteville's Public Works Commission (PWC) is raising its rates. PWC says it needs the price hike because the cost of fuel and power have skyrocketed.

The average customer will see their bill go up about $13. If costs go back down, the increase could be lowered.
