Raleigh Police Close Roads After Gas Line Ruptures

RALEIGH — Police officers in northeast Raleigh say a gas leak there is now under control.

Construction workers hit a gas line, causing authorities to close Southall and New Hope Roads.

Natural gas leaked for about 45 minutes, which caused a terrible smell in the area.

The fire department confirms that a vapor cloud was spotted in the neighborhood.

No injuries were reported.-->
