FAYETTEVILLE — Detectives working one of Cumberland County's unsolved crimes are taking to the airwaves looking for help.
A local Fayetteville station is running a public service announcement on the I-95 rock throwing case.
Canadian teen-ager Michael Vytlingam was seriously injured while traveling with his father. A rock was dropped onto their vehicle from an overpass last March.
After spending weeks in a North Carolina hospital, Vytlingham was transferred to a Canadian hospital.
It was recently announced that he is blind as a result of the attack. He also remains semi-conscious and bedridden.
Sheriff's investigators hope the PSA will bring in new leads.
There is a $13,000 reward for information leading to an arrest.
