FAYETTEVILLE — Investigators believe a stove burner is to blame for a fatal fire in Fayetteville.

Firefighters were called to the scene before 4 a.m. and spent the morning at 1128 Sleepy Hollow Drive.

Officials say Paulette Fisher, 28, died in the fire. Firefighters originally feared her two-year-old son also died in the fire; it turns out he was spending the night elsewhere.
