HILLSBOROUGH, N.C. — Orange County authorities arrested two people Tuesday in connection with a break-in at a residence early Monday morning that resulted in two females being shot.
Police say both victims, who lived at the home, were shot in the leg, after Franklin Wade Davis and Courtney Lamont Starnes allegedly broke into the residence on Libscomb Grove Church Road in Hillsborough.
Both victims, whose identities were have not been released, received medical attention for their injuries.
Detectives with the Orange County Sheriff's Office are still investigating the shootings.
