Sharpsburg Residents Call Meeting To Discuss Town Issues

Posted Updated

RALEIGH, N.C. — Some people who live in the Nash County town of Sharpsburg have called a meeting of their own. They want to talk about issues their town faces.

Last week, Sharpsburg leaders announced three police officers, including the chief, will soon be out of a job.

Commissioners voted to cut the force to save money, saying the town faces a major budget crisis.
