DURHAM — There is a master plan for downtownDurham, and now, residents know what it looks like.
The company hired to develop a plan for renovating the area held an open house Thursday.
Residents were able to express their approval or disapproval for the different development visions.
Plans for the Durham Central Park were also unveiled.
The park will contain an amphitheatre, ice rink, fountains and much more. The whole area is being called the "Emerging Warehouse District."
A proponent of the revitalization says there will be a wave of redevelopment in the area over the next five years.
