CHAPEL HILL — A Chapel Hill stand-off with police has ended, but now officials are looking for the man who was involved. The event lasted 14 hours.
Investigators say 20-year-old Clinton Farrington Jr of Durham was holed up in an apartment complex at the corner of Pritchard Avenue and Longview Street.
Police responded to a domestic call there at about 7:30 a.m. Saturday.
When they entered the house around 9:30 Saturday night, Farrington was gone.
Adjacent streets were blocked to traffic and neighbors evacuated from their homes during the stand-off.
