RALEIGH — About 5:30 p.m. Sunday Raleigh police were called to a downtown neighborhood to search for a person allegedly shooting a gun. No one had been reported injured.
A sizable search is under way of the neighborhood in the vicinity of Person and Lee Streets.
Reports indicated that the police came upon a person with a gun, but as they approached, the individual fled on foot.
They have a description of what the person was wearing.
Police also may have a witness.
