APEX, N.C. — A woman hit by a car in Apex died early Friday morning.
State troopers say 31-year-old Tracy Harris of Durham died at Duke.
The accident happened Thursday night at the intersection of Highway 55 and Old Jenks Road. Charges will not be filed against the driver.
Troopers say Harris was walking in the roadway. They say Harris had cocaine in her system.
