Chapel Hill Police Seek Suspect In String Of Break-Ins

Chapel Hill police are asking for the public's help in locating a man wanted in connection with several break-ins spanning a four-month period at Chapel Hill businesses.

David James Craig, 42, is wanted on nine outstanding warrants for break-ins at Steinway Gallery, Sandwich in the Courtyard and Three Cups in the Courtyard on Aug. 25 and The Purple Puddle on Dec. 16.

He is also wanted for failing to appear in court.

Craig, a black male, stands at about 6 feet 1 inches and weighs about 240 pounds.

Authorities think he may be living in either Chapel Hill or Durham.
