DURHAM, N.C. — A Durham homicide suspect arrested by Colorado authorities after a standoff there is now in custody of Durham police.
Danny Lamont Thomas was wanted in connection with the July 16 homicide of 31-year-old Ralph Joseph, of Durham. He was arrested Dec. 9 after a nearly three-hour standoff with U.S. marshals and Colorado Springs police.
Thomas faces charges, including first-degree murder, kidnapping and robbery in Durham. He is also facing charges of trafficking cocaine in Wake County.
