CARY — Add another name to the growing list of homeowners in the Triangle.

With the snip of the scissors, Arlene Adams' Christmas wish came true, a brand new house.

The media and a few well wishers got a first hand tour of the new home Adams will share with her 11-year-old son Joshua. She says, it's been a long time coming.

"When I move in, I am going to feel very relieved," Adams said. "It's just going to be a dream come true."

Every Saturday since July, Adams, with some help from Habitat for Humanity and SAS Institute volunteers, built the home.

Adams's home is one of seven new Habitat homes located off Johnson Street in Central Cary.
