Search Continues for Missing Mother, Daughters

Marcela Lopez, 27, was last seen Saturday with her two young at a flea market in Louisburg. They were selling clothing out of their minivan.

Lopez's husband and sons are in a panic. Now, Salvadore Lopez wants to know what has happened to his wife and daughters; Rita, 3, and Elizabeth, 7.

Lopez doesn't think his wife left on her own, because the couple has three sons that were at home with him.

"When something like that happens, you think the worst," says a worried Salvadore Lopez. "And I don't know what's happened. All I want to know is if she's all right and the babies too, you know."

Louisburg police say the Lopez's minivan was recovered late Saturday night in the parking lot of a nearby Wal-mart store. Police say they've found nothing suspicious, and are treating this as a missing persons case.
