Triangle Watched HDTV Football

Posted Updated

RALEIGH — It was another NFL Sunday, but the New York Jets and Buffalo Bills game was a little different.

It was the first time an NFL game was broadcast in high definition. The two Now-Audio-Video stores in the Triangle showed the game, which was broadcast on WRAL-HD.

Football fans who stopped by got a real treat.

"It's pretty nice," said Eric Lewine, a viewer. "It's really bright and clear and the people in the crowed you can actually see when they have wide shots and the sound's really really good, too."

The Jets blew the Bills away 34-12.
